Florida Help

Looking for a quick getaway in April for 4-5 nights in Florida from NY.

Any suggestions? Beautiful beaches, some nightlife- not too crazy- mostly relaxation and nice beach resort... not too expensive.

thanks!

Beautiful beaches generally means the Gulf coast, however, that takes in a lot of territory. If you can let us know what your budget is, you'll get some good ideas.

Hi there...have you considered trying Priceline out?? I just returned from Florida and had pretty good luck with Priceline/Bidding for Travel.com. Carrie.

How about the Sheraton Sand Key? Or the Don CeSar? These are both in the Tampa/St. Pete area. I also liked the Lido Beach Resort (it was a Radisson when I was there, don't know what it is now). It's near Sarasota.

Second the Don Cesar - lovely beach and close enough to city nightlife.
