Float Trip down Snake River
Would like to make reservations for a scenic float trip down the Snake River. Is their any suggestions on one that is any better than another first time for us in late June 2004.

Yes, definitely take one. We've done it twice using Baker-Ewing, one of the larger float trip companies. We took from Jackson Lake Lodge in the Teton and the other from Jackson. Each covers a different section of the river. Both are worthwhile.
Yes, you do see wildlife.

We had a float trip scheduled in June several years ago, but it ended up being cancelled by the outfitter. The winter's snowmelt was at its peak then, and the rivers were really high and extremely dangerous. However, it made for great fishing up by Jenny Lake! Can't go wrong in Jackson or the Tetons.

We recently took a float trip down the snake river with SOLITUDE river rafting
It was a 3 hr trip for $40,the guide was very informative and funny too.
The 3 hr trip starts at Deanmans Bar rd and the trip is all in the park.
You float down river right where Ansell Adams took his famous black and white photograph of the GRAND TETONS.
