flight from Denver to Bloomington Illinois

I may need to go to Bloomington Illinois with very little notice because of an emergency. We flew there this October with Frontier and they have pulled that route. I am not seeing any direct flights to Bloomington, Peoria, or Springfield from Denver. It looks like I will need to fly into either Chicago or Indianapolis. Do any of you know of a direct flight with one of the smaller airlines to Bloomington or nearby city.
thank you,

Flying into St. Louis is another option.

There used to be non stop flights from Denver to Peoria. I'd be really surprised if those didn't exist anymore. They were on UA.

Oh, and St Louis would be a pretty long drive to Bloomington.

They are all long drives. St. Louis is a 2 1/2 hour drive to Bloomington. About 15 minutes longer than the drive from Chicago and the same as Indianapolis.

Peoria is much shorter... about 30 minutes. If the OP can get a quick flight (probably via ORD) to PIA that would be the best option.

I checked UA site and they no longer have the DEN-PIA non-stop. Very surprised to see that! I can't recall the last time I took it, but it was always a full flight.

There are 5 trains per day that leave Union Station in Chicago and arrive at Bloomington-Normal about 2:14 later.
1st on of the day leaves CHI at 7AM.

Don't forget having to get from the airport TO the train station. DOES add a good bit of time and money.

Gretchen is right. They are not close. And if you chose to take the blue line from Ohare, you still have to get from that station in downtown Chicago to Union Station to catch Amtrak... a couple of blocks to walk? Not fun if the weather is bitter cold like today!

Thanks, seems like some airline would pick up this route.
