Extra Leg Room while Flying

I have a flight next week and I usually try to get the emergency exit seats when I fly. I am 6 4 and need a bit extra leg room. Which Emergency Exit seats have the most room?

Hi Rick,

To help, we will need to know: the airline,& aircraft type & route as the overwing exits on a B737/Airbus will have less space than the exits by the main doors on a B767/B747/A340 and the seat numbers will vary between airlines and even between aircraft of the same type within an airline.

Regards

Gregory

Rick: American Airlines is pretty well known for the great amount of leg room they give you.
I am tall just like you, and have been very comfortable, especially for international flights. It makes a big difference.

Try Air Tran. I hear they let you dangle your legs out of the emergency exit (except during takeoff and landing -- you'll scrape your heels on the runway.

Try asking for the bulkhead.
