Cost no issue, huh?
Have your wedding reception on Lincoln's Head at Mount Rushmore. Or in the Oval Office of the White House. How about in the space shuttle orbitting planet Vague?
Happy Wedding Day and Honeymoon!
(Wink wink, nudge, nudge, knowwhatimean?)

Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island in Michigan. My best friend honeymooned there 2 years ago. They had a wonderful time. Victorian design and furnishings...the hotel that was in the movie Somewhere in Time.
Have you thought about one of the Canadian Pacific Hotels? Lake Louise?

...a castle in Scotland is also another great option!

I think the absolute best, most ideal and perfect and unique place would be the place your closest family and friends can get to most easily and with reasonable expense. Yes, I know there is a trend to want a wedding in the most distant luxurious place, but the focus of a wedding is to take solemn vows in the company of loved ones. Let's keep our eye on the ball.

If cost is no issue, charter a plane for those 50 people and get married going across the international date line!
Even if you are getting married out of state, there could be residency issues. Have heard it's a real pain to get a marriage in France (of an American couple) recognized in U.S.
Check the various wedding web sites for ideas and suggestions.
Get married where you live and then take the honeymoon. If you do the "destination" wedding, you'll have 50 people along for the honeymoon. I'm sure you love them dearly, but not for a week on you honeymoon. Hillary Rodham Clinton's parents came along for her honeymoon in Mexico, and look at how that marriage turned out (hmm, maybe the Rodham's knew she was marrying a scoundrel).
