eBay 10% discount code
Are you buying any travel videos etc. on eBay? I want to let you know that there was an insert in our newspaper with a discount code good for one 10% off one eBay purchase - up to $25. The offer code: CELEBRATE. When you go to checkout, check the box stating that you plan to use a coupon code. Then, there will be a spot for the code when you get to Paypal. This is a single use code so use it on your largest eBay purchase. Expires Sept. 28th.
Hope this helps save a little money.

How nice of you - Thanks!
Mind if I add a 20% off coupon link for Borders/Waldenbooks valid until 9/25/05?

This is a great thread for those wanting to save on travel related items. Before I click through on anyone's link though, if it is benefiting an organization or school or anything other than just being a straight discount, I'd like to know who my click and purchase is benefitting.

None of these coupons are benefitting anyone but the person that prints it out. They are not linked to giving any group or charity anything. They are simply printable discounts originating from the retailer. When I come across them I occasionally post them on craigslist as a freebie. Some people sell them on eBay. Save some money, no strings attached.

Quick story: I bought my daughter a clarinet on eBay last week for $110 and they alerted me that they didn't have them in stock after all. The seller issued me a refund and I decided to buy from a different seller on eBay, so I got to use ajcolorado's code and saved $6 on my purchase, thanks aj!

Super thread!
For travel dining, or at home, this might be of interest to you. I've used these lots of times in the past, and they DO work. Note restrictions (usually two in dining party, exclusive of alcohol etc.)
Expires September 30 -- and I don't know what's left in their inventory. You can browse by state, region or zip. The code is good for 60% off the already discounted prices.
1. Go to www.restaurant.com.
2. Enter a zip code to shop.
3. Click "Add to Cart" for the certificates you'd like.
4. Click "Check Out" and enter promotional code 39109.
Click "Recalculate Total" to apply your savings.
To add to the above, my eBay customers were quite happy this week when I shared the code with them -- most didn't know. A win-win!

For travel dining, or at home, this might be of interest: restaurant.com gift certificates, usually good for $25 on meals at participating restaurants.

I wish you people would stop teasing us with these restaurant.com posts. I'm in Naples, Florida surrounded by hundreds of good restaurants, but when I enter the zip on restaurants.com all I can ever get is a bunch of online sales places -- no restaurants.
