Does It Exist?

My wife, Debbie and I have travelled to the USA many times and there are a couple of areas we have yet to visit and, as yet, we are undecided for our 3 week holiday next year.
It is Debbies 40th next year and I would love to surprise her to take her to a place she has always wanted to see.

There is a church featured in the video, November Rain by Guns and Roses and she loves its remoteness and setting and I would love to take her to see it. However, I have been told the church was made for the video and does not actually exist?! Can anyone help me? (Have tried websites connected to the band /music etc but to no avail)

You guys have helped me with advice in the past and would appreciate it again. Cheers, Terry

Terry, I haven't seen the video so I have no idea where it is. Help us out... what kind of place is it? Maybe we can suggest places that look just like it. Mountains? Seaside village? Beach town?

thanks, guys for your response.

i must admit, I cannot abide ths song! and thereforem have only seen the video a couple of times. The church is very small and wooden (clapboard!?). It has a white picket fence around it and is set in very very flat grassland with nothing else in sight. As I said previously, we have a couple of places yet to see and we love driving the open roads, and I am hoping its set in Nebreska, Oklahoma, Kansas? Debbie is happy to go to any or more than one of these places and t would be a bonus if we "came across" it!! We live on an island 35 miles square so the open road for miles and miles is what we love and do best!

Terrye,

I found a site called "Video Facts" which stated that this 1992 video was filmed in "New Mexico." I'm sure it was in the country, and there is not a name for where it is. Here's that information:

November Rain
Location - New Mexico [Slash solo outside church]
Director - Andy Morahan
Producer - Warren Hewlett
Black Dog Films
1992

dfotravels

many thanks for your info. I have found the site for Black Dog Flms and e-mailed the director for info!

Good news and bad news, we travelled thru New Mexico early this year! Luckily, Debbie loves the place and, seeing as she caught severe bronchitis and slept for 4 days through medication given, she would like the chance to see it again, I am sure!

Thanks to you all
Regards
Terry

Hello Kodi,

It's a G&R video facts site. The main web site is located at:

http://hem.passagen.se/snoqalf/gnr.html

The page I quoted from is located at:

Thanks dfotravels. I dind't realize you were writing about a G&R site. Darn, I was hoping it was a general video facts site.
I'm looking for information on a Tim McGraw video that was taped in Ireland and I'd love to know what parts of Ireland are in the video.
Obviously this site isn't going to help!!!
Any suggestion from any one else where I can find out about other videos?
