If you type in "coronado mariott" in the search box above, you'll get several posts on this subject. Also try "coronado marriott" and you'll get some more.

Go to www.tripadvisor.com and put in the names of your hotels.

Hi, we stayed at the Coronado Marriott in June of 2003. I was totally pleased with our choice to stay on Coronado. We were upgraded to a "villa" (don't ask me why) which I liked so much better than being in the main building. We could exit our room and cross the lawn where we had an awesome view of downtown San Diego and the Coronado Bridge and we had our own patio with easy chairs. They have a water taxi that takes you to S.D. And there are several great waterfront restaurants within a 10 minute walk.

How does it compare to the Del? The Del is right on the beach (although when we were there the beach was closed). It is definitely more of a resort atmosphere and it is closer to town. I walked all over the island from the Marriott too, but downtown is quite a jaunt on foot. If you can get a comparable price, I would advise the Del over the Marriott. I have some photos on my Webshots page, if you are interested: (Scroll to "California, 2003") http://community.webshots.com/user/maggiwun

GLM Please read this!!! I am copying it into several of your posts.

You are really asking the same questions too often, and then the "thread" gets spread all over the place. After you post a question, you should read the answers and post a reply to the same one if you want to refine the responses.

If you cannot find your posts, it is because they drop down the list as others are added and yours may be VERY far down.

To find your posts, you can do one of two things: either sign in and then you'll find your name in the left upper corner ot this page; above UNITED STATES and next to WELCOME. click on it and all your posts will appear.

You can get the same thing to happen if you click on your name in any of your posts. It is next to the word Authour.

If no one has replyed, do not repost the same question. Just post a reply with the letters "ttt" as your reply. This means to the top and will make your post appear at the top of the post list again.

This is the polite way and other posters will respect you and your inquiries much more if you follow "the rules".
