In order to complete perfection we need the Red Sox to meet the Cubs in the world series. GO SOX.

Holy cow!! Being that I have lived most of my life in Atlanta (since 1962) I have, first, died and lived with the Braves. 1991, 1992 were magical seasons that I'll never forget. But I got to be honest, this year I was pullin for the Cubs! You got this far, aint nobody can stop you guys now!

Doc,
Right you are! That would be a nice ending to a long awaited win for both teams...I just said Yankees because they are the best and it would be very cool to play them...

Smokey,
Thanks for the support!!

Cubs vs. Red Sox - The first World Series no ones wins. ;-)

The Red Sox killed my father and now they're coming after me. I can't take this anymore. Can we please win tonight without them causing me yet another heart attack?

If the Red Sox don't make it I'll be routing for the Cubs.

Go Sox! Go Cubs! I have all kinds of hope but not a lot of faith, like most Red Sox and Cubbie fans! (Wonder how many of us manage to be both, as here.)

Congrats to Chicago Cubs fans everywhere (from a diehard Cardinals fan). Your team wanted to win a lot more than mine did this year. I know there's been a lot of trash talkin' between Cubs and Cards players, coaches and fans but I can't forget how well the Chicago Cubs organization and fans handled the sitaution with the loss of Darryl Kile last June.

When I was watching the coverage after the Cubs won last night, the fans who had gathered at Wrigleyville were having their own street fair... and the game wasn't even played there. I can only imagine what will happen if and when they win the next round.

I'm pulling for the Cubs and Red Sox in the W.S. and (I'm sorry here) the Red Sox to win it all. I say this because I visited Fenway this summer when the Cardinals played there (first time since the sixties). The Red Sox fans were incredible... I had the best time visiting with so many of them.

So go Cubs for the N.L. penant and go Red Sox to win it all!

As a giant`s fan, I am a little dissapointed they didn`t win, but must confess I am really happy that the cub`s did it! Would love to see them beat the AL league champs! The Yankees have won too many times! Go cubs!

The last time the Cubs won a postseason series (of any type) only 1 in 10 households had electricity in the US!
Congrats to the entire Cubs family.

I'm a Royals fan, and we enjoyed the ride while it lasted this season. But now, add my vote to those wanting the Red Sox to meet the Cubs in the Series. The underdog should come out on top for once!

Guess you can probably tell by my screen name that I was rooting for the Braves. But.......you Cubs deserved it and now I will pull for you all the way!
I will just have to remember that magical night in 1995 when the Braves finally did it!!
Go Cubs

Sufergirl, I was soooo disapponted the Braves(was a former Atlantan) did not win....but I know their pitching was suspect. Wait till next year! Go Braves, if not the Braves, then the Marlins. We go to Red Sox spring training here in SW Fl, so they are kind of special here in SW Fla. Whatever happens, no Yankees PLEASE,,, enough already. ;-) Judy

Judyrem, As an L.A. native and Dodgers fan, I'm always routing for the underdog, since our underdog team hasn't come up for air since Kirk Gibson slammed it out of the park and hobbled home to a cheering crowd of disbelievers!
