I'm booked into circus circus in las vegas and after reading the threads, I'm running scared. Have there been improvments made since these last entries. Is it really as bad as all that??? Anyone been there recently??

If there's anyway to get a different hotel - do it! Circus Circus is the pits. Period. All those previous posts were NOT lying or pulling your leg.

No...it was one of the most horrible experiences I've ever had! RUN somewhere else.

I agree. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Tacky tacky tacky (and I usually *love* tacky!!).

For price and size of rooms, on a block perpendicular to the strip (Tropicana? ave), San Remo is a good option if you can't get a good deal elsewhere, but really, I'd try to book elswhere (but youll have a good time no matter what, so don't sweat the small stuff--it's just that there are so many options in Vegas, why not get the best you can for your money?)

Well, at LEAST they are consistant. The one here in Reno is a DUMP!!!! I can't believe it's so bad being directly attached to the Silver Legacy, but alas, it is.
