Chicago Eatery

I understand Cafe Spiaggia is a more casual atmosphere than the big sister Spaggia's next door. Is the food quality still as good?

Also, is Printer's Row overpriced for what you get?
Thanks.

I couldn't tell you about the Cafe v. the Restaurant--too rich for my blood either way. Is what on Printer's Row overpriced? Hotel? Food?

Both Spiaggias are very good. Look at Chicago magazine for reviews. Printers Row is a place I haven't been to in about three years, but I always liked it - very high quality food and service. Then again, I wasn't paying the bill!

If you are looking for great food in the South Loop, also check out Everest - it's heavenly.

Ate at Printer's Row in April of this year, it was a very good & relaxing meal, I don't think it was overpriced for the good food & service we received & really not that much more expensive than any of the other average restaurants in Chicago. It gets a thumbs up from me.

I thought Spiaggia was overpriced and the portions were small and this comes from someone used to high prices and small portions in Manhattan. Not familiar with the Cafe.
