Chatanooga TN
We will be driving through Chattanooga on the 4th on our way to Birmingham (and the food of Frank Stitz!!) and we plan to stop in Chattanooga for lunch. Can anyone recommend a place to eat there? We like quality food and don't mind paying for food if it is good. We will be there for lunch. Thanks in advance.

I love the Bluff View Art District, overlooking Chattanooga. Here's a link -

But it's been a few years since I've been there so I don't have recent first hand experience to share.
There's also a very good family owned Italian restaurant on Lookout Mountain. Plus you can See 7 States up there

Here's a TA review for the Italian restaurant in the Bluff Arts district -

If you have time you may want to See Rock City or Ruby Falls.
Even if not, I love going up on the mountain. The streets are named after fairy tale characters and the school is Fairyland Elementary

Starr's, thanks for the info! I think we will drive the Bluff Arts district. I teach 7th grade and we have taken the kids to Chatanooga many times on the end of the year trip. Ruby falls is always a highlight, I expected to hate it but it pretty spectacular and fun. You are right, the view is awesome. Thanks again.
