Caesars Questions

We're going to be staying at Caesars next week and I have a couple questions:

Which is the more desirable part of the hotel to stay in?

Is it easy to upgrade to a better room (we're staying Thursday - Sunday)?

Is there a "club floor" at Caesars?

How is the buffet (we've got comps for two buffets)?

Is the construction that I've read about still going on?

Thanks!

Guest review of Caesars (assuming it's the one in Vegas that you are going to):

The buffet is ok, but I wouldn't want to pay for it again. I was disappointed. I guess I expected the food quality and choice to be better. But if it's free, I guess ya can't complain.

The Palace Tower is the most desirable of all the towers. It's the newest and the rooms are oversized, with huge marble bathrooms and jacuzzis (not sure if all the rooms have jacuzzis). Also, great location for pool access (although a pretty good walk to the casino).

I'm not sure how easy it is to upgrade to the Palace but I'm sure it would be easier Sun-Thurs rather than on the weekend.

The buffet is okay - fairly small selection and a little overpriced. I'd say it was worth it, though, if you have complimentary passes.

As far as the construction goes - I stayed there in early July and there was construction going on, although it didn't really intrude on my stay. They are building a new arena (for Celene Dion) and I believe that they will be building a new tower so there will probably be construction going on for quite some time.

P.S. - try Nero's if you want an excellent dinner. They made the best Chilean sea bass I've ever had.
