I am curious as to what month you were born in and where your favorite place to celebrate is.. sort of a fun and informal, but travel related post.((y))

August is the month of my birth. Where would you like to send me, Jetset?? I'm open to suggestions. :D

If I had to pick, I'd go to Bermuda. But I don't think that's in the cards this birthday.

I was born in October, and my favorite way to spend my birthday nowadays is on a plane headed anywhere. I've only done this a couple of times--the last time I was supposed to do this, Hurricane Wilma hit so my trip to Miami was thwarted.

I guess I figure, if I'm on a plane on my birthday, crossing time zones somehow cancels it out!

October - and I'm hoping this year will either be Tuscany or Cape Cod. If not, it will be in the mountains.

July . . . just had my b'day on the 9th! Love to celebrate just about anywhere as long as my DH is there, too! :)

STW, are you back home? How is your son's friend. He and your son have been in my thoughts and prayers!

Planning TWO trips to Frieburg, Germany this year. My oldest daughter will be studying at the University there for a year. Can I go more than that??!
My fav place in my home state of MN is the North Shore of Lake Superior. Heaven.

I am a Libra jetset!! I have had the pleasure of having a surprise birthday party in my honor in Italy with about 45 Italians attending the party. It took me two days to recover, lol.

In my mind, there is pretty much isn't a bad destination in which to celebrate my bday...buuuuuut...if $ were no object and OWJ2 would be able to go away too--anywhere in Italy, Hawaii, Australia or NZ, Paris, a beach somewhere....I'm easy to please and May is a good month to travel to most places!

Our anniversary and my OWJ2's bday are a month later so to be fair, I'd have to extend whatever trip to include his:)

October 28 here. I read somwhere that there are more babies born in October than any other month, figures 9 months earlier is January, coldest time of year, lol.

wantsomesun-I am October 28 too, and do not meet many of us, funny....I like to celebrate anywhere I can here the fall leaves crackling as they blow down the streets, smell the crisp cool air, carve a pumpkin, and just begin to wear sweaters...

June! I'm a Gemini and my favorite place to celebrate is either the beach (islands, South Florida, my back yard)or an urban setting (New York, London, Rome).

Can you tell I'm under the sign of the twin? I can't decide between the two.

Every time I book a trip to a beach, I think, why didn't I book a city trip and vice versa!

June is my birthday, a GREAT vacation month!

I have spent past birthdays in Florida, Hawaii, Grand Cayman, and last year in the ICU(son had surgery). But all is well now; this past birthday was spent at home with my family. Next birthday, who knows?

I'm an Aries - April 11th. The perfect spot for me would be Paris.

August 7th - Paris (of course) !!

September. Usually we celebrate my birthday in Paris but not in 2006
This year it will be 5 mile hike to get to Hike Inn in Georgia's mountains where we stay for a couple of nights.

My dream birthday is going to be in a remote cabin in Alaska or on our private beach in the Seychelles.

September 28th.

My favorite place to celebrat isn't very exotic, I'm afraid. We usually leave the toddler with grandma and grandpa and go to Whitefish, MT for the weekend.

It's chilly and sunny outside. The aspens are just turning bright yellow. I get to wear my wool sweaters for the first time. We walk, shop, do some hiking around Glacier Nat'l Park, drink red wine, and eat good food.

It's a great time to have a birthday. And this year, I will be 30.

"Celebrate" not "celebrat". Sigh.
