If you are talking about to travel to, I'd have to say San Antonio. It has the river walk, which is romantic, the Alamo and the missions for a bit of history, great food and on and on. There's something for everyone.

San Francisco, New York, Boston. SF because it's just beautiful and diverse and fun; NY because I grew up there and it is near and dear to my heart; and Boston because it is so historic.
