Alladin or Paris hotel in Vegas??
I'm going to Vegas in March and I want to stay at one of the strip hotels. Which hotel would anyone recommend between Paris and the Aladdin?? I've got Paris for a good price, but could stay at Aladdin for $20 less a night. I don't go to Vegas often, so I'm looking for suggestions.

Jill, PARIS for sure! I went to Vegas for the first time in 2001 and stayed at the Mirage and really enjoyed my entire visit..but... we walked along the strip ( of course LOL) and when we stopped in Paris I wanted to change hotels LOL. didnt change though LOL
but had dinner at one of the cafes and its Beautiful!
Next time I go back that is where I am staying>

Have stayed at Paris once. Room was very nice (suite)although we didn't have a good view, we still enjoyed the spacious room. We have reservations to stay at Aladdin for superbowl weekend. Cant believe the incredible rate we got and, we just booked the trip. To answer your question, I would say stick with Paris. Upon my return on the 28th, I'll do a small trip report and let you know what I thought of Aladdin and its accomodations. BJ

I've stayed recently at both and I would offer that you've chosen two high quality hotels. Both provide superior rooms, quality restaurants (the Aladdin buffet is rated in the top 3 in LV; Paris offers exceptional crepes, among others choices) and are great strip locations. Pools however, are inferior to many other LV hotels; and I find their casinos average at best. Make your choice, and if you are patient, curious, and tolerant, you won't be disappointed...

I have never stayed at Paris - but I must say I was very impressed with Aladdin. The rooms were nice, all with free laptop computers for your use. The casino area was really spacious, with little "nook-like" lounges to escape for a cocktail. And, they have some of the best shopping - I think it's called the "Passage Shops"? Paris certainly might be better, but just wanted to let you know Aladdin isn't a bad place to stay, by any means.
