Acadia National Park Hiking
We will be at Acadia National Park the end of Sept for one day. We'll take the shuttle to the park from Bar Harbor. We are in ok shape for hiking but don't like too much elevation. Does anyone have a suggestion. A friend hiked Bubble Mountain years ago but said it was steep as she remembered. We were in Acadia 10 years ago but had a car and mostly drove the loop stopping here and there at the scenic spots. But this time we thought we might hike some. Fodorites always have good suggestions. Thanks.

Thanks so much. I goggled Great Head Trail and found wonderful information about the trail. We will definitely start our hiking with that trail. I came upon some information about the Cranberry Isles that looked interesting, but the ferry is $24. I was wondering if you or anyone has done that and whether it is worth the price.

Hi, just back from Acadia...
I think hiking to Otter Point is on the Ocean Trail I mentioned above.
We're done the Great Head Trail a number of times, but if you're limited to flat-ish trails, this is NOT.
