Packing for a ski trip

We are planning a 7 day ski trip to Alpe d'Huez, France in March with a 3 day extension in Aix. Any suggestions for packing that would meet the carry on rules? We will have to carry our ski boots.

Do you mean no checked luggage? Carrying everything one? Or just the ski boots?

I would love to have no checked bags, but don't if possible, because of the ski boots. Any thoughts? I have done only carry on in the US,but never to Europe.

Wear your ski boots on the plane and put the lighter weight shoes in the bag?

It can be done, but you'll have to limit your clothing for the trip.

Pack lighterweight layered pieces. Lightweight long underwear with cotton pants rather than bulky jeans; t-shirt with long sleeved shirt over rather than bulky sweaters; etc.

We take two 7 day ski trips per year, and I always need a large suitcase. I bring the same things on just about every trip, and I usually wear everything I take.

I need a clean turtle neck, ski socks, and underwear everyday, take two long sleeved fleece and one vest, ski pants, two pair of jeans and three sweaters, underwear and non-ski socks for evenings, a robe and bathing suit for the hot tub, toiletries, PJs, long underwear (tops & bottoms), assorted ski gloves, hats, goggles, earbands, neck gators.

If our trip is near the end of the season, and the weather might be warm, I bring a ski shell and wind pants, too.

Thanks for the hints. I pretty much pack the same clothing for our ski trips except when we go to Europe where I find the dinners are more formal (no jeans!)
Wouldn't it be wonderful to wear my ski boots!! Such a treat to take them off for the security checks!

I hate wearing my ski boots for any longer than I have to--if someone made me wear them for an overseas flight, I think I'd confess to whatever they wanted to be able to take them off!
