Galapagos For Seniors

My husband, age 75, wants to cruise the Galapagos. He has had by pass surgery years ago and we will not go to Quito because of the elevation and possibility of a breathing issue. Are there other options aside from Linblad that offer a deluxe cruise. Also, what is the best time of year to visit. We are good travelers and prefer not to travel in the summertime.

I always suggest this book - A Travelers Guide to the Galapagos - it gives you a great sense of the kinds of trip/itineraries/boats etc and time of year

Re boats - yes - we were on the Eclipse which is 48 passengers - it was terrific.

Re flights - assume you mean you'll fly non stop to Guayaquil? A few US gateways I think.
