Weather in Buenos Aires
I know that summer is both hot and rainy. I would like to know if it is hotter in Dec. or Feb. and if it rainier in either Dec. or Feb. We really don't like the rain or weather in the high 90's but have to travel at that time of year. Which would you choose.
Thanks!

We were in BA for the month of December last year and I can only recall one or two days on rain.

Weather Underground is a great source of weather info .. you can keep up with current temps and precipitation here in BA and you can look at the almanac and see what they were in Dec and Feb.
It was a very long hot summer imo. With not much rain at all.

I would say that February is hotter but it all depends, I have just visited the official weather site and checked the statistics and the average temperature was the same.
Regarding rain... it isn't that rainy
If I were you I would come during February, all porteños are on holidays and the city is calmed. However, during December it might not be that hot

Hello,
Yeh February tends to be hotter than December, in fact it doesnt rain that much in Buenos Aires! Its winter at the moment and despite being cold there's generally blue skies, I would recommend October/November which is spring... not too many tourists and warm and sunny!
Have fun!
