Help w/ kenai fjords trip
We are planning to do the 6 hour trip with Kenai Fjords during our 3 day stay in Seward June 16, 17 and 18 (Wed - Fri)2004.
Question is we want the 8am trip. Should we book ahead? The cancellation policy seems pretty steep if the weather is bad. I would appreciate advise from people who have been before (especially at this time period).
Is there anyway to know how many cruise ships are scheduled to be in town during that time period?
Thanks for your help.

I would recomend you take the longest boat tour. Many people recomend at least 8 hours, which we did. We wished we had done the longest--11 hours.
People on this site recommended we wait til we were there to see how the weather was. We bought out tickets one afternoon for the next morning. We were there mid July and had no problems getting tickets.
We were also lucky to have calm seas--no one got sick. Good luck.
