Where should we spend a few hours in Lawrence, Kansas?

On what may be my only trip to Kansas, I will have a few hours in Lawrence on a Saturday morning. Those in the know, what would you recommend doing and seeing? I'll have enough time to have brunch and see something before heading to the airport.

Thanks!

Check out Downtown Lawrence which is the number one destination in the state. It has eclectic shops, restaurants, coffeehouses and more. You can have brunch at The Roost but there will be a wait on a a Saturday morning. Another option is Wheatfields which has breakfasts and baked goods from their wood-fired oven. If you still have time go to the University of Kansas campus and visit the KU Natural History Museum which is also one of the top destinations in the state.
