Drive las to st george at night
I plan on taking the I-15 Northbound at 1 a.m. next week. I have driven this road in the past, but only during the day. I am a bit concerned about driving at night and wanted to know if the road is known to be more dangerous at night (dark); what things I should watch out for while driving. If there is anything you feel I need to know that I have not inquired about, I would certainly appreciate it.
Best regards, Cira

Not likely to be an issue next week, but if any weather has moved through then be aware of extremely dangerous black ice.

Anything can happen to anyone at any time. Whether I am risk-adverse, cautious or worried (in advance), it is like me to ask questions that perhaps others would not prior to a trip.
I very much appreciate the responses received as of this writing; they have been helpful. Thanks to those of you who were kind enough to respond and alert me in advance. I am grateful.

It gets dark here at 5 these days. So you would be driving in the dark if you left at 6 pm. There are plenty of people who do that drive in the dark--deer and black ice could be an issue. But otherwise you should be fine. It's a major freeway. And not a long drive at all.
