Evening arrival at MEX airport

In January, I’ll be arriving at MEX from the US at 8:50 pm. I am considering staying that night at an airport hotel rather than taking a taxi into Mexico City to a hotel in the Zocalo area. Any recommendations for airport hotels? Thanks.

The IzZzleep, Courtyard and Hilton are all at or inside the airport. The IzZzsleep is more like a pod hotel.

I've only stayed at the Courtyard once when I had an overnight connection at MEX, but searched to see if anything was new . . .

I suppose it depends on which terminal you'd be arriving at. If T1, the easiest is the Camino Real since it has an elevated & enclosed walkway from the terminal to the hotel. That said, is there a compelling reason not to take a taxi to centro? At that time of night, there won't be that much traffic. If it were me (and it's not) I'd go right to my hotel in Centro thus avoiding the hassle of checking in twice and what to do with the several hours between checkout at the airport & check in in Centro. That's almost an entire lost day. Although most hotels will store your luggage until check in.

For MEX airport, check out the Camino Real at T1 terminal, it's good and affordable too.
