We're traveling to Sedona from Vegas in October. From Sedona, we're planning to go to the Grand Canyon South Rim then on to Page, Monument Valley, Moab, Capital Reef, Bryce, Zion and then back to Vegas. What's the best way to include Grand Staircase Escalante in this itinerary? We will have about 2 weeks to do all of this. Thanks in advance.

Did you have something specific you wanted to see at Grand Staircase Escalante? The monument can be visited from different sides depending on your interests. The Toadstools hoodoos are a short hike on the south side about half an hour outside of Page. The trailhead is off of Hwy 89 so it's easy to access. When driving from Capitol Reef to Bryce you can take Hwy 12 which travels along the northern side. The Calf Creek Falls trailhead is one that's along the highway. Devils Garden requires driving on an unpaved road that is generally OK. The road to Willis Creek slot canyon is more rugged so check conditions if you go https://www.blm.gov/programs/nationa...isitor-centers
