36 Hours in Guadalajara

Not much going on here lately. This article ran in the online NYT today. We don't see much on Guadalajara here, so I thought some might be interested. The article is shared, so you need not subscribe to the Times to read it.

I read that; I think I asked about taking a week there and did not get enthusiastic response but that article might make me give it another look for next winter.
I wonder about staying in Tlaquepaque??

Those photos of Teatro Degollado brought back a vivid memory: I went there while attending school for the summer, long ago. I felt woozy and proceeded to spew the contents of my stomach on the center aisle while on my way to being seated.
The staff who responded could not care less about this silly young girl but they were in a total panic about the carpet which I might have damaged! I remember an ambulance to a local hospital--more like a truck than ambulances in the US...... Nothing was really wrong with me but it's fun to remember the memory so thanks again for posting that! I guess I can freely admit here that that summer, at a futbol game, I had my very first experience with the evil weed!!
