We would like to visit the grottoes and monastery from Datong city . In 2010 we joined a group excursion day trip. Can’t remember if we booked through our hostel/hotel or in agency. It was very cheap. What I can find on the web now is like 250€/pp. Doing both in 1 day by local bus departing at the train station seems impossible time wise. Any suggestions?
