I am putting together a group tour to look at Mayan ruins in Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize between March 1st and March 12th next year. We're planning on doing a helicopter tour from Flores, the town on Lake Peten Itza south of Tikal, to the ruins of the massive and still-being-explored ruins of the huge Maya city of El Mirador, which is up in the jungles of Guatemala near the Mexican border. Has anyone else done a helicopter tour from Flores to El Mirador? If so, what company did you use; what was the charge; and what did you think of the company and the overall experience?
