Hello!

We're planning our trip for 6nights to San Jose del Cabo over Christmas. We are using San Jose del Cabo as our base to be travelling around and will be staying at the HIlton Cabo Azul. Are there any must do things in the area during this time period? Are restaurants open on Christmas and Christmas eve? Are tours etc operating on Christmas Eve? Thanks for your help!

Will you have a rental car?

yes I’m planning on getting one. I think it will make it easier to get around.

There are places you could day trip from San Jose del Cabo... into downtown Cabo San Lucas and Medano Beach is fun. A longer trip would be heading to La Paz or Todos Santos.

Sorry no idea about tours on Christmas, but I'm sure there will be restaurants open in any tourist area on those days. (I'm only familiar with Cabo San Lucas and was not there at Christmas )
