Aer Lingus checked bag

I'm a bit confused I booked aer lingus flights and I thought I booked a 20kg checked bag. I worried when I saw on the boarding pass it says saver fare and carry on luggage. However when I log in through the website it does say 20kg checked bag as well. I guess I just freaked out when it didn't show up on the actual boarding pass itself. Am I worrying over nothing? Should I contact the airline to confirm? I don't want to be left in the airport with my huge suitcase 😭

Welcome to Fodors. I 'think' you are OK. Your boarding pass is for clearing security and boarding the plane. It will let you take your carry on through the jetway. The booking will let you drop your checked bag before security. But if you are concerned I'd definitely contact Aer Lingus if just to put your mind at ease. If you have problems getting through on the phone -- using the Chat is usually pretty efficient.

Okay thank you! I was tempted to down size my suitcase I am that worried. However it definitely says under 'bags and seats' on the website that I have a 20kg checked bag as well as carry on 10kg there so it should be okay.

I have never had a boarding pass say anything about checked bags. Much ado about nothing...

I've only ever flown Aer Lingus a handful of times and do know at least once the hand luggage allowance was printed on the paper boarding pass.
