Hi To everyone!
A quick question. We arrive to Aurora Airport at midnight and by the time we clear customs hotel shuttle will not pick us up. Hotel is only less than 2 miles away. What is the safe way to get to the hotel? I would greatly appreciate recommendations.

I writing only to suggest that you state the date on which you will arrive at the airport -- if people with good answers see this question two weeks from now, they won't know whether it's still worth their while to compose a response.

As you don't have much time, if you haven't done so yet you may want to sign in to TripAdvisor and post your question on their Guatemala forum; you're more likely to get faster responses there. I arrived at La Aurora airport myself last August, but took a conventional taxi to my hotel. It went well, but I know that one experience doesn't prove anything. Also, that was about 4:30 in the afternoon -- conditions may be a lot different at midnight.

True. We arranged with the hotel to send a private transportation for a very reasonable charge.
