Return to US on expiring passport
If my US Citizen kid has passport expiring in 1.5 months and is currently in India, if traveling back to US, which country/airline will allow connection/transit? Or need to travel from India to US in direct flight like Air India or United?

Welcome to Fodors. American citizens can return home right up to the date of passport expiration (up til last year they could even travel home on an expired passport but the rules changed in, I think, June '22)
