Anyone heard of Oasis Passport-plan that lets you stay in apts all over the world?

Read an article about them, it is a program where you can stay from 1-6 months with no long term lease at apts. in various cities starting at $1800 a month (cheaper apts. are in Latin America) , they have tiers and more expensive cities are higher but still only one price in each tier no matter which apt. you stay in, everything is furnished and includes wifi, you just pay a one time joining fee. Went to their site, and they say more cities will be added in 2022, it's already Oct. 22 so don;t know how often the site is updated although they FINALLY responded to an email (though don't seem to answer their phone in the middle of the day) can't find ONE review of them on internet which makes me VERY wary of trying them out.

Glad to see that Lonely Planet owns Fodors now, one less forum to post in!

If the least expensive apartments are $1800 a month in Latin America it sounds very expensive to me. Check on Airbnb for monthly rentals there & I think you’ll find nice places for half or less, plus support from the company should you need it. It sounds like a rip-off if not an outright scam.

That would surely be a "red flag" for me as well. No internet presence in this day and age???

Oasis seems to be an umbrella company, started about 20 years ago with a variety of different enterprises over time. Doubt I would “buy” into any of their plans.
