Singapore for some reason is still listed as Level 4 - Do Not Travel. This is a bit absurd as it's well controlled there and just hasn't been downgraded since last year.

Does anyone know if there are travel insurance companies out there that will cover even if in a country that is labeled by the US Govt as such?

Which insurance companies have you asked so far? I'm gathering information for a flight to Singapore & a current entry requirement, as I understand it, is medical insurance to cover covid treatment up to SG$30,000 (US$22,000). That might be a line of inquiry to begin.

I was able to figure it out! I called InsureMyTrip and they helped me find quotes for companies that covered this. The policy even comes with a letter stating the level of coverage for COVID-19 expenses. It varies by policy so you should call and find out.

Alternatively you can also go through SafetyWing.com. I confirmed they also do this.

Thanks for the information. I WISH I was going that soon but not until winter, by which time it’ll all likely have changed. But the information will still be useful.
