Road Trip from Philadelphia to Charleston with Toddler
Hi-
I am looking for some suggestions on where to stop overnight somewhere in southern Virginia or North Carolina for one night on our drive south. We are driving Easter weekend and wanted to break up the drive since we will have our 2yr old son with us. I don't have much knowledge about the towns in either of these states and was hoping for a recommendation. Ideally we would like to stay in a Bed and Breakfast in a nice charming town with some food options. Any ideas? Thanks!

You might consider getting off I95 around Wilson NC and head south to Kinston. There are B&B's there BUT the big attraction is Vivian Howard's Chef and the Farmer restaurant. Make reservations, of course. Then just continue on south on 117 to Route 17 south to Charleston.
