Cruising with dogs

Do you have any recommendation, for cruises that allow pets?

Yes -- Cunard/the QM2 allows pets on their transatlantic sailings. AFAIK that is the only one.

Do understand the pet/dog is not allowed in your stateroom or any public areas. They are limited to the kennel area - but you can visit them every day. So it is really transportation across the Atlantic -- not you 'cruising' with your dog.

Unfortunately, dogs are not really allowed, only if its a service dog and then there are also restrictions. Sorry about that, I would love to bring my dog on board.

To clarify -- they don't have to be service dogs on the QMII. Any dog or cat is allowed . . . in the kennel area.

Also kennels on the QM2 sell out months in advance (because the QM2 is the only passenger ship in the world that transports pets).

Maybe someone should start offering a cruise that allows dogs and cats to come with the passengers. But I guess there are a lot of rules for different countries. (same as with the airlines) Maybe this is just wishful thinking, I would love to bring my dog!
