Princess ship transfer to Seattle airport

this is just an FYI for those who are looking to get from the ship to Sea-Tac airport. We booked a transfer from the ship to the airport rather than another form of transport thinking it would be faster. Once we were on the bus and headed out of the parking lot, the driver announced it would be a 40 minute ride as they don't use the freeway but tour through the city instead! Oh my gosh, I thought we would miss our flight! Take the taxi instead - there were lots of them for a flat $47. We paid $58 for the Princess bus.

It might have taken just as long or longer using the freeway -- the traffic is horrendous.

We had a similar experience with the company Royal Caribbean subcontracts for transfers out of Ft. Lauderdale.
They were supposed to go to either Miami, our departure or Ft. Lauderdale. There were two separate buses. However our guys decided to load a band with instruments and headed to Ft. L. first and then Miami.
They were late leaving not to mention the additional stop and time to drop off the band and unload their instruments.
Some on our bus missed their Miami flights and we got to the gate 10 minute before boarding. Had it not been a Sunday we would have missed the flight too. RCI eventually gave us future OBC as this was not up to their level of service though it took some convincing.

OTOH our bus transfers provided by Princess from Yokohama to Narita were fine,
