We did not sail on the Jewel but did a 10 day cruise there on the Tahitian, now renamed Ocean Princess in 2006.
The islands are the most beautiful I’ve ever seen especially those outside of Papeete. I would say it’s a worthy experience so don’t hesitate to go.
