My husband and I stayed there 5 years ago for our "Weddingmoon" in the same room Pat Sajak stayed in earlier for taping Wheel of Fortune and it wasn't the best room in the hotel
It was GREAT!! But keep in mind, that was 5 years ago...we are going back (to Maui) and plan to stay at the Outrigger Wailea for a few days, because of our great experience with "The Reef". They also have a very nice restaurant (Chief's Hut) for casual meals. We are not going back to Oahu...just preferred Maui...but enjoyed our time (3 days) we were there. Must dos are the Arizona Exhibit and Hunama..(sp?) Bay.

I don't think you can go wrong with the Outrigger chain. While I haven't stayed at the Outrigger Reef, I did stay at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach and the Outrigger Waikoloa on the Big Island. I enjoyed both of them very much. Nicely appointed at a very fair price.

We've stayed there several times, usually try to get an ocean front with balconey - great view!! Beautiful sunrises, and sunsets, and gorgeous view of Diamond Head. Always use our Enertainment card to get 50% off too. Good location, and close to a favorite little Italian restaurant we enjoy - Arancino.
