It's approximately 9 hrs from Kansas City to Dallas. All you have to do is get on Interstate 35 (I-35) and head South. From Neb. I'm guessing you need to add another 3-4 hrs.

Omaha is about 3 hours north of KC (if you do 80mph) so...plan on 3.5 hours to KC on I-29.

Sorry to have to say this, but it needs to be said. You have asked a very basic question. No one minds helping someone, but we do expect them to do the most basic of work first. Your answers can easily be found on the internet. Once you've done that, if you want to verify the information with us - great. Just don't ask everyone to do your basic legwork.

Dear Friends,

I have found that throughout life, people are aware of different things and learn different things at different times. Perhaps this is Armani's first visit here, or doesn't know the "ALL CAPS" internet etiquette standards.

If someone like my mother were to post here for the first time with her new computer, and not know of places like MapQuest, NetCenter, GTE, etc., I would feel really bad that she was introduced to the rudeness that some people can thoughtlessly express. I hope that Armani has received the information he desired, and will stop back to Fodors again.

Happy Trails,
Paul
