Women's Spa, Resorts, Retreats

live in So. California and need some time away someplace lovely. Either flying or a short drive. Well, more into flying maybe.
I'm looking for a lovely retreat, maybe with Spa facilitities, into Yoga.

Anybody know of a good place? Or have you ever been to a Hawaiian Retreat?
Thanks.

You might want to consider a few days in Ojai if you're looking for a peaceful retreat close to home.

If you prefer getting a little away from home, I'd highly recommend Red Mountain Resort and Spa in Southern Utah.

Thanks. The thing is I have a little Miata and I'm terrified of driving on freeways. SUVs and Big Trucks don't see my car at all.

This is not at all spa-like, but it is magnificent--Mount Madonna Yoga Retreat Center (or ashram, or something), near Watsonville, CA. It's a real yoga community in a wonderful location. I've been there.

Me again: I looked at Mount Madonna's site (find it on Google): there is a hot tub and wellness center offering body work, and there's a women's retreat week in April that sounds nice to me. (I went to a yoga-related conference there, so I was involved in a program rather than just visiting the center for its own sake.)
