We have two kids and are looking for a family firendly place in Ft.Lauderdale near the beach. Which ones can someone suggest:

Lago Mar and the Marriott Harbor beach are both on the beach and both pretty pricey. Both are excellent but the Harbor beach is more luxorious and thus more expensive.

We stayed at Harbor Beach twice, once with our kids, once without. It is a beautiful place. Pool area is great, nice wide beach area too. It is pretty pricey but if you can afford it, I highly recommend it!!

Just came back from Lago Mar and have also stayed at Marriott Harbor Beach. Lago Mar is great for kids-the resort is beautiful,and for less than a single room at the Marriott, you can get a 1 br suite at Lago Mar-they are quite roomy.Both hotels have a nice stretch of beach.Beach Place towers is across the street from a public beach located behind an outdoor mall.The Marriott Marina is nice but not on the ocean.I would choose Lago Mar or Harbor Beach.
