There is no way you can plan on making that connection. At any of the New York airports, you would be lucky to make a connection that close in the SAME airport. There are shuttle services (bus) between the 2 airports. Cabs also, but that is far more expensive. You need at least 2 hours to make a connecting flight - the airports are not actually that far apart, but traffic, transportation will make that much time necessary. Sorry to be so negative, but You probably want to know now, rather than after a long flight.

It is about 10 miles between airports and a taxi would be the fastest way. Cost would be around $20. Depending on time of day (traffic) trip could take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. The likelihood of 15 minutes or a bit less is remote unless you will be doing this late in the evening or very early morning. If you walked off the plane at JFk and didn't have to retrieve luggage it is possible but if you have to get your luggage you will not make the connection. Give your self 1 1/2 hours - a chance. Give yourself two hours and it should work. Of course, two hours might not work if the flight is late arriving..
