Disneyland Hotels

Will be staying at Paradise Pier in early March. Just 2 adults, no kids. Any restaurant recommendations at Disneyland. Also we have a high floor with a view of California Adventure. Would it be worth the upgrade to the concierge floor? Would be an extra $40 a night. One last thing: we have heard conflicting reports on whether the hotel is attached to the monorail system. If not, how far to walk to both parks? Thank you in advance.

It's true that the hotel is not directly on the monorail system. The only two stops that the monorail makes is in Tomorrowland and at the Downtown Disney area (formerly part of the old Disneyland Hotel).

Everything is very close together and the walk shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. We haven't stayed at the Paradise Pier (we chose the Portofino during our trip in May which is just down the road), but I'm sure that your hotel has complimentary transportation.

Flying Fish restaurant in Downtown disney was wonderful. Sunday brunch with live blues music at House of Blues was great. Don't miss Cirque de Soliel, our unanimous favorite on the trip! (this is also in downtown disney)

I think Mike is going to Disneyland in California. Loangalsal is talking about Disney World in Florida. Please don't let this confuse you!

I stayed at the Fairfield inn across the street from Disneyland 3 years ago. It was very nice, with a pool and reasonable $$...a very good value. Its a short walk into the enterance. Its not worth the extra $$$ to stay in the park hotels like it is in FLA.

Oops! I you can tell by my double posting AND the fact that I was thinking "world" instead of "land" that I must have been half asleep when I answered your inquiry. Sorry!
