St. Pete.- Tradewinds Sirata Beach Resort

Please tell me about this resort. I have a good opportunity to stay there in April.

I think it is a good choice. We had planned a trip to that area in June (but our plans fell through) and this was the one hotel I had picked out. I researched many in that area and I believe you are making a good choice. It is a new property. You will have access to the other Tradewind properties also..that is the dining, beach, water sport. It is an upscale resort..so no white trash. That was a concern for me at other properties I looked at...dumpy..motel-like and the photos shows trashy looking people.

Will, I also got my room through priceline ...$60.00 for 5 nights (4/11 -4/16). What are your days and rate? Just curious. It was my first time using priceline and think I might have been able to do better but the lowest rate I could get a room for those dates at that hotel was $119.00. Not that they would have taken the same bid but I am still curious.

Hi! I live within biking distance of the Tradewinds resort, and wanted to let you know that, although the resort is definitely NOT new, it's a great property, centrally located on the "strip" in St. Pete Beach. If you want to be in the "thick of things" you couldn't have chosen a better place. It is a combination of about five neighboring resorts, bought and renamed as one about a decade ago. It is employee-owned and very well kept - a great place! And at $60, you definitely got a bargain. Enjoy!

I will be staying 3/10-3/15 and got my room for $65 a night through priceline, $60 is about the lowest I have seen. Thanks for the feedback from all.
