Long anticipated trip to Grenada coming up - need some recommendations

Had to cancel last year due to medical reasons. We are scheduled to leave on April 27 for 10 days split between LaLuna and Spice Island Resort.

Would like to take a day sail. Not necessarily interested in snorkeling, Just want to spend a day on the water. Suggestions on a company to use?

My wife and I have been to Grenada 3 times now. We love it and would return in a heart beat.

During our previous 2 vacations we had used K and S Tours and Kennedy Tours but I can't recall if they included boat tours.

This year we had booked a tour with Sunsation Tours but unfortunately it was cancelled due to the weather. We would have flown over to Carriacou and then boarded a sailboat for a tour over to Petite St. Vincent, Petite Martinique and the Tobago Cays. While this itinerary may not interest you they have numerous outing you may wish to consider. The company was highly recommended to us by various locals. Here is a link to their website.

Thanks, DaveJJ. I can't wait to get to Grenada.

I looked at the Sunsation Tours website; it looks interesting. Will probably wait till we get there and then schedule something.

orangetravelcat, I hope you're having a great time down there right now! I'm looking forward to a full trip report upon your return. It's hard to imagine two finer hotels on the island for splitting your stay--lucky you not to have to choose between one or the other!

Just got back tonite and had a wonderful time. Loved both hotels, and loved Grenada. What lovely, friendly people. Will write more when I'm not so tired.

Glad you're back safely and that you had a wonderful time. I remember when you had to cancel your original trip and I'm so pleased that you were able to reschedule Grenada and discover how lovely it is.
