Norway in July 2026
My wife and I will be in Norway the last week of July this year. We are in our mid-60s and from the US. We are spending 2 days/3 nights in Oslo and taking the train to Bergen. We plan to be in Bergen 3 days/4 nights before flying out.
Any recommended itinerary for the 3 days there - one of them is my wife's birthday. Wondering if there are small guided group day tours to explore outside of Bergen.
Suggestions welcome

We're co-incidentally in Bergen currently. If you havent been before, Bergen itself could consume upto 2 days (Bryggen, museums, Floybanen... ). A fjord excursion is a popular daytrip out of Bergen - Naeroyfjord, Hardangerfjord being favourites. Our personal experiences are all self-guided, but the Bergen tourist office pages list several guided alternatives if that's what you prefer

You have such a short time in Norway. Recommend the NIN tour with your train from Oslo to Bergen. A day trip from
Bergen weather permitting to see more of the country is a good idea. If you had a few extra days I would recommend renting a car to see more of this beautiful country on the way between Oslo and Bergen
