Perth to Kalbarri road trip... stops worth making?

hi again,
Planning a road trip up to Kalbarri in a couple of months and just mapping out where to stop along the way. I’ve got Geraldton and Pink Lake on the list but would love any local tips for underrated stops, nice cafes, or quick walks along the way. Not in a rush so happy to take our time with it. Cheerssss!

harvie -

I have several detailed trip reports (albeit rather old now) posted here on Fodor's for the places you've been asking about on your various threads.

I'm posting the links here, just in case they help, keeping in mind that things might have changed, but knowing what I know about WA, perhaps not, lol.

Here is my report on our trip up to Exmouth, which included Kalbarri:

Perth to Kalgoorlie:

Perth/Balingup/Denmark:

Pemberton:

Day trips from Perth:

Margaret River:

So much to do, so little time. A long weekend in Margaret River

I realize it's a lot to read, but offer them here hoping it might help with your research.
