Rwanda Logistics Question

I'm planning a trip to Rwanda to visit Volcanoes, Nyungwe, and Akagera National Parks, in that order. I've reached out to several tour operators for itinerary options, and I've noticed some differences in their responses—specifically regarding the drive between Nyungwe and Akagera.

Some operators insist on including an overnight stop in Kigali, saying the drive is too long to do in a single day. Others are willing to make the trip in one go. The most common explanation I've received is simply that the drive is too lengthy for one day.

I'm curious to hear from anyone who has actually done the Nyungwe-to-Akagera drive in a single day. What was your experience like? And if anyone has more insight into why this route is often discouraged, I’d really appreciate the details.

Thank you in advance for your help.

The day earlier I had asked if there were any local artists creating paintings or drawings and after dinner he said we would now go to meet the most famous local artist. We went to an outdoor terrace above the town where I treated everyone to a couple beers to attempt to repay their kindness. These guys were not drinkers and this would be considered an expensive outing.

How necessary is a typhoid vaccine before going to Kruger? We reached out to each of our family physicians for malaria meds, and three docs said that's all we need until the last one, who strongly suggested that my daughter get the typhoid vaccine too. I didn't see anything about that online or on this forum while doing research. Would love thoughts about this.

CDC recommendations here. This is what a travel clinic doc would recommend as they usually follow this guidance: https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destina...-and-medicines (And that's a yes to typhoid, as well as a few others!)
