Vancouver Island with kids
Hi! we are family from Mexico City going to Vancouver from April 11 to April 26th. We are two adults and a 5 year old boy. We have travelled a lot and my child has no problem with car or air travel. He enjoys it and tolerates well long distances. We love the outdoors and adventures. We have planned the following itinerary:
April 11 (late arrival) - April 16--> Vancouver (Stanley Park, Capillano, Granville Island, Chinatown, Flyover Canada)
April 17--> Travel to Tofino (maybe stop in Nanaimo Wild Play)
April 18-23--> Tofino (kayak, whale watching, Pacific Rim, Ucluelet Aquarium, tidal pools)
I would your advice in what to do the rest of the 3 days. We would like something outdoorsy, maybe a place with an indoor pool, where all the family can have fun. I was thinking Squamish or maybe Whistler. I am not convince about Whistler, mostly because of the end of the season skiing and worried my kid won't be able to communicate in ski school (he only speaks very little English)
Would love some suggestions on what places you will think would be fun to visit!
